Message from the Physician Assistant Department

Message to students:

Graduates from D'Youville College's Physician Assistant Program work!

We have the oldest, most well established PA Program in western NY, with graduates working in states throughout the nation. We only accept a maximum of 40 students to each class, allowing for a great deal of attention to each student's needs, both academic and personal. Additionally, DYC's PA Program does not require students to re-apply to the PA Program prior to the pre-professional phase (3rd year). Once you are accepted to the program, we work to graduate you with your peers!

Our mission is to prepare our students to work in primary care medicine, but we have graduates employed in almost every area of clinical medicine. Our success rate on the PA certifying examination is 100% and many of our graduates get job offers from their clinical rotation preceptors.
