Message from the Physical Therapy Department

Message to Students:

The field of physical therapy is very diverse with many different practice settings and different age groups. In looking for your first job, pick and area of practice that will provide you with mentors and support. Intensely specialized settings such as acute care, pediatrics, sports medicine or home care are not ideal first jobs.

Also, be sure to communicate in your resume or cover letter your commitment to ongoing learning and flexibility. These are keys to success in our dynamic, evolving field!
