Buzzwords and Phrases

The action verbs and optional ideas listed for each major are suggestions for the descriptions within your resume. The list is by no means all-inclusive and optional ideas for one major may be transferable to another major.

Action verb - The part of speech which expresses action.

Optional idea - Skills or experiences that you may have gained or enhanced while working that may be important to include in your resume descriptions.

Example description for work/internship experience:
