Physical Therapy

D'Youville College offers 2 different pathways to earn the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, the entry-level degree for this fast-growing healthcare profession.

Physical therapists work with patients who are functionally impaired from injuries or disease. As a physical therapist, you will assist individuals to regain function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) has set the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree as the entry-level degree for the profession.
